at LITTLEFIELD: 622 Degraw St. Park Slope/Gowanus. MAP IT! 2 Blocks from R train at Union
Jurying a record amount of applicants to make way for 65 of them to participate, we got the best talent concentrated into this one weekend. This Market falls on the LAST SHOPPING WEEKEND BEFORE CHRISTMAS, helping shoppers who procrastinate (all of us!) find handmade values - and making it easy to keep out of the big box stores - when the clock is ticking down....!  THE BEST SHOPPING HAPPENS HERE. CHECK VENDOR PAGE!
  • Each day will feature different vendors! The 100% turnover from Saturday to Sunday ensures great variety, and a great reason for YOU ALL to come both days.
  • BKCC will also have food trucks each day for hot food on these chilly winter gift-buying days featuring Rickshaw Dumplings, Mexicue and El Olomega pupusas. Littlefield will offer hot (and cold) drinks from the full bar, including weekend-long BKCC Market drink specials
  • Local artisanal food (for munching and gifts) including: Rescue Chocolates, Jenni's Cookies, Granola Lab, The Jam Stand, Sourpuss Pickles, Macaron Parlour, Chocolate Swirl, and more.

Breaking News: Brooklyn Craft Central announces our 4th annual Holiday Market! As always it falls on the last shopping weekend before Christmas - December 17 and 18 - and taking place for the second year in a row at Littlefield Art Space on the Park Slope/Gowanus line. Right on the R train, an amazing warehouse-turned-event space - check them out! We had wonderful foot traffic all weekend last December - this will be no different! Vendors apply HERE.
We will have Nate Duval doing our artwork yet again - see his website, and also our archive page for his past work with us. More info on this Holiday Market very soon...

Brooklyn Craft Central is honored to have been asked to take over the organization of Crafts in Chelsea, the bi-annual event started by PS11 and the [NewNew} York ETSY Group. We're crossing the river to throw this autumn's event on October 15. It is happening - as it always is - on West 21st Street betw. 8th and 9th Aves, and helps to fund PS11's wonderful arts programs (the wonderful school that sits on that block).  Vendor applications will be open to the public on August 11.

Spring cannot come too soon for ALL of us frozen little bunnies. To celebrate the big thaw, Brooklyn Craft Central is pleased and excited to be partnering with Dumbo Improvement District (dumbonyc.org) to hold this year's spring market under the historic cobblestoned DUMBO block called "The Archway", right by the Park and the River. This will be happening Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 11am - 6pm (rain or shine), and is FREE to the public.

Nicknamed 'Shop the Archway', BKCC continues into its third year of the semi-annual series to bring stellar hand-makers together from across the Northeast - from Maine to DC - to show and sell the best of their collections at accessible prices. Curated carefully, BKCC makes sure to represent products that are both high quality, original in their conception AND NOT your old run-of-the-mill street fair fare. Check out our archives page and the wonderful vendors
from our last market.
MORE INFO VERY SOON! Apply HERE.

About the organizer: Curated carefully by native New Yorker and Brooklyn indie champion Deb Klein - once part of the long running and splendid Bazaar Bizarre and former owner of the well-loved record shop HI-FI (both in Boston) - Brooklyn Craft Central Markets bring together Klein’s design aesthetic with entrepreneurial smarts to appeal to a wide audience of shoppers. Deb founded the BKCC series at the Brooklyn Lyceum in 2008
